Objective: Full body explosive power. Technique: Start with a semi-squatting position with the feet parallel and shoulder width apart. Start with hands gripping the barbell just outside shoulder width. Accelerate upwards through a combined leg and hip drive, assisted by explosively pulling the bar upwards with the arms. Continue accelerating the bar up past your head, dropping in under the bar slightly. End with your arms fully extended and the bar directly above your head, standing in an upright position.
