Plate Twists

Objective: To develop core strength. Technique: Get yourself into seated position knees bent, feet on the floor, slightly leaning back and holding a plate with straight arms in line with your chest. Begin the movement by pulling your belly button in and up towards your spine to activate your core then begin rowing from left to right, twist your torso so that you make contact on the ground with every row. Keep your legs still and hip facing forwards.
