Weighted Push Ups

Objective: Upper Body Strength Emphasis (Chest, Shoulders and Triceps) Technique: Assume the push up position with arms fully extended, hands and feet just wider than shoulder width and back straight. Have a partner place an appropriate weighted plate on your upper back. Perform the push up with strict form and control maintaining correct alignment to ensure the plate does not move or fall off your back.
