The ball is passed randomly around the outside of the grid by the four players. On the whistle whoever is in possession runs into the middle of the grid and steps left or right of the player defending in the middle who makes the tackle. At the same time the two players next to the ball carrier sprint around to support him. The player standing behind the tackler also runs in and tries to steal the ball from the tackled player. The first player to arrive in support cleans out the stealer and the second player secures possession and runs through.
