SIMPLE COUNTER RUCK AND PASS

rugbyiqAug 07, 2015 08:54 AM

Place 4 balls evenly spaced down the middle of the channel with 2 players holding a tackle bag sideways in front of the first ball. Drill starts with a rucker and scrumhalf standing in front of the bag with 2 players standing either side to receive the pass. The first rucker cleans out the bag driving it back over the ball so the scrumhalf can secure it and make the pass to either side. After he passes he now becomes the rucker and a player from the side runs in to play scrumhalf. This sequence continues until all 4 balls have been "counter rucked".
