Objective: Lower body strength and power emphasis. Technique: Sit on leg press seat with feet placed squarely on leg press plate just wider than shoulder width apart. Push the plate upwards, disengaging the manual locks. Lower the plate until the knees are bent 90 degrees. Straighten the legs again, ensuring not to lock out the legs at the top.
