Objective: Full body explosive power. Technique: Stand upright with hands gripping the barbell just outside shoulder width. Barbell hangs in front of you with arms fully extended. Lower the weight slightly before immediately accelerating the bar upwards through a combined leg and hip drive, assisted by explosively pulling the bar upwards with the arms. Continue accelerating the bar up past your head, dropping in under the bar slightly. End with your arms fully extended and the bar directly above your head.
